Abstract
Cervical necrotizing fasciitis and a descending mediastinal abscess of the neck following acute epiglottitis, life-threatening complications, is reported in a 43-year-old man with DM. The bacterial culture showed Peptostreptococcus anaerobius. The patient recovered after surgical debridement and broad-spectrum antibiotics therapy.Entities:
