Abstract
Electrical stunning was evaluated in commercial slaughter rabbits. Different voltage applications with varying current duration were tested in recovery experiments in 71 animals. Stunning parameters and duration of insensibility were measured and analysed for assessing stunning effectiveness. A minimum stunning current of 140 mA which can be achieved with application of 100 V was recommended.Entities:
