Abstract

We report the fabrication of core-shell structured snowman-like microparticles coated with multi-walled carbon nanotubes and their electro-responsive electrorheological behavior under an applied electric field strength when dispersed in silicone oil. It is observed that they form a chain-like structure, possessing microfluidic potential applications with their solid-like property. This journal is © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2012
