Abstract

Calcium urolithasis is not a homogeneous entity, but is a result of many etiologies, with different physicochemical and physiological backgrounds. This diversity of presentation requires an appreciation of specific diagnostic criteria, and a selection of an appropriate treatment regimen for each cause.
