[Metastasis to the pituitary stalk in a case of breast cancer].

Abstract

A 64-year old woman with breast cancer developed diabetes insipidus. CT scan showed thickening and contrast enhancement of the pituitary stalk highly suggestive of metastasis. The patient was successfully treated with desmopressin followed by external radiation therapy.
