Sir,Since the Letter to the Editor[1] comments on the article are written by the editor himself,[2] it was found appropriate to subject the letter to a blinded peer-review process. The letter was sent to one of the reviewers suggested by the author and another reviewer from the editorial panel to get an unbiased opinion. Following are the replies from the reviewers. The rest is for the reader to comprehend.Reviewer 1: The purpose of the article “A report on case reports” was not to publish an original concept, instead an attempt to streamline the process of writing a case report. Throughout the article, the author has not claimed ownership, on the contrary, has provided appropriate references for the concept cited. It should be noted that verbatim copy of sentences with appropriate references cannot be classified as plagiarism.[34] Hence, this article does not fall under the context of plagiarism.Reviewer 2: The articles from which sentences have been taken have been adequately cited in references. Online submission process enables to check for plagiarism and no such material was found. It is a well-written article and is the need of the hour to encourage publishing good-quality case reports.
