Abstract
Cell penetrating peptides (CPPs) and their synthetic analogs are of widespread interest. Here we report that guanidine rich small molecules can be potential membrane transporters in the presence of hydrophobic counteranion activators. To our knowledge, this is the first example of small molecules that mimic the anion-activated transport function of CPP.Entities:
