Abstract
We assessed prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MS) in rural women of Bangladesh using 1485 women aged ≥15 years. The prevalence rate of MS was 31.25% (NCEP ATP III modified). And 85.05% population had low HDL values. These findings are important in the development of future health prevention strategies in Bangladesh.Entities:
