Has your patient been bullied?

Bridget K Blaney1, Ellen M Chiocca.

Abstract

Childhood bullying, a social phenomenon with extensive physical and psychosocial sequelae, should be viewed as a public health issue worthy of nurse practitioners' attention. Using a biopsychosocial approach to synthesize a review of the current literature, trends in childhood bullying, its profound impact, and implications for the NP are examined.
