Abstract
Pulmonary localized nodular amyloidosis is a rare disorder and is not associated with primary systemic amyloidosis. We herein report a patient with a growing lung nodule who underwent thoracic surgery and was diagnosed with this condition. This case study suggests that localized nodular amyloidosis should be considered during a differential diagnosis of growing lung nodules and that a histological examination should be performed to distinguish this disorder from lung malignancies.Entities:
