Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Identifying the critical attributes of the parenting concept. MATERIAL AND
METHOD: The parenting attributes are the process, activity, and interaction regarding to rearing and educating a child, which is undertaken by parent or parental figure. Those aim at developing a child's growth, development, and well-being.
CONCLUSION: The specific parenting attributes can be applied to practice, education, and research in the area of pediatric, family and community health care.
