Abstract
Gastrointestinal motor abnormalities are common in patients with diabetes mellitus and may result in significant morbidity. Patients may present with a wide range of symptoms, including manifestations of organ involvement or poor glucose control. Derangements of motility may result in complicated and difficult management problems. This paper reviews the clinical features, pathophysiology, and treatment of diabetic gastrointestinal motility disorders.Entities:
