Abstract
We present a case of fatal vascular destruction and granulomatosis of the lungs from intravenous injections of dissolved tablets containing microcrystalline cellulose as filler material. Numerous microcrystalline cellulose pulmonary emboli and foreign body granulomas were detected, and the pulmonary parenchyma showed signs of disturbed circulation with focal necrosis and oedema.Entities:
