Left ventricular noncompaction and aneurysm revealed by left ventriculography.

Costin Nicolae Ionescu1, Diane Turcot.

Abstract

Left ventriculography (LVG) is sometimes not performed during cardiac catheterization when results of prior noninvasive tests are available. We present a rare case of left ventricular noncompaction coexisting with left ventricular aneurysm diagnosed during cardiac catheterization. LVG could provide additional information in patients with nonobstructive coronary artery disease and decreased ejection fraction on noninvasive tests.
