Abstract
The classification of periodontal diseases used and taught in the Department of Periodontology at The University of Sarajevo, Yugoslavia is presented and explained. The classification is the result of nearly 20 years' work. It is based on the inflammatory process and a combination of topography, morphology, pathology and aetiology of periodontal diseases.Mesh：
