Abstract
A 69-year-old female with chief complaint of abdominal mass was admitted to Eiju General Hospital. CT and US showed the gallbladder as a multilocular mass associated with a gallstone. Abdominal angiography revealed no evidence of malignancy. She also had esophageal varices, and she underwent cholecystectomy, splenectomy, devascularization of proximal stomach, transection of the esophagus and pyloroplasty. Resected gallbladder had multilocular tumor and contained a large amount of mucus. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of primary mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of the gallbladder.Entities:
