Abstract
Three novel pentacyclic meroterpenoids with a unique dilactone structure containing C-C bonded bi- and tricyclic γ-lactone moieties, biyoulactones A-C (1-3), were isolated from the roots of Hypericum chinense, and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. The relative and absolute stereochemistry of 1 was assigned by a combination of NOESY and a single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.Entities:
