Abstract
A small cluster of infectious syphilis among young heterosexuals aged under 25 years in south-east Hampshire has highlighted the limitations of effective partner notification, the challenges of providing effective awareness raising and the need for increased accessibility to genitourinary (GU) medicine services. Evaluation of awareness raising to both the target age group and health care professionals indicated that the strategies employed did not increase testing and had limited impact on young people in terms of seeking further information.Entities:
