Abstract
Recent advances in immunology and biotechnology have opened the way for new approaches to vaccine design. Gilles Riveau and Françoise Audibert discuss progress in the design of synthetic peptide antigens for vaccines against pathogens, and discuss the possibility that such vaccines could also be used to control the activity of endogenous mediators.Mesh:
