Abstract
The incidental discovery of an asymptomatic intracranial arterial aneurysm is no longer uncommon. It can change a person's life. Decision-making should be guided by a thorough comparison of the risks associated with the natural course and with microsurgical or endovascular intervention. At present this comparison will favor a conservative approach in the majority of patients, especially in those with small aneurysms or who are over 50 years old.Entities:
