Abstract
Tillaux fracture is a fracture of the anterolateral tibial epiphysis most often seen in children between 11 and 16 years of age. The fracture occurs when the medial and central part of the distal tibial epiphysis is closed and the lateral part remains open. We present a case with a combination of a Tillaux fracture and an ipsilateral fracture of the lateral malleolus in a 16 year-old boy and discuss the fracture mechanism using the Lauge-Hansen ankle fracture classification system.Entities:
