Abstract
Regional relapse of melanoma may occur as satellite or in-transit metastases proximal to the primary tumor in the direction of the lymph flow. The management of in-transit metastases is challenging because the efficacy of treatment is largely dictated by the biological behavior of the patient's melanoma.
