Abstract
Pancreatic endocrine tumors (PETs) are relatively rare. Owing to their slow growing characteristics, an aggressive surgical approach has been considered to improve patients' survival. A case of PET with portal vein (PV) thrombus, successfully treated by distal pancreatectomy with concomitant PV resection and removal of PV tumor thrombus, preserving collateral pathways, is reported.Entities:
