Abstract
Salmonella enterica serotype Enteritidis was detected in a 34-year-old, previously healthy patient who suffered from osteomyelitis of the costae. Radical surgical debridement and antibiotic therapy were able to stop the infection. An abdominal flap and a thoracic flap were used to cover the soft tissue defect.Entities:
