Abstract
Hydrochlorothiazide-induced acute pulmonary edema has been reported rarely. Despite the frequency of hydrochlorothiazide use and the potential for this life-threatening side effect, it has received little organized attention in the literature. Treatment of the syndrome involves supportive therapy. The authors present a case report and review the 16 previously described cases.Entities:
