Abstract
The lipid formulation of amphotericin B is the initial drug of choice for central nervous system blastomycosis, but it is costly and associated with significant toxicity. This case report details a patient with primary pulmonary blastomycosis with dissemination to the skin, one joint, and the brainstem that was successfully treated solely with high-dose fluconazole.Entities:
