Abstract
From the aerial parts of Dendrobium secundum, a new bibenzyl, namely 4,5,4'-trihydroxy-3,3'-dimethoxybibenzyl, was isolated, along with four known compounds which included brittonin A, moscatilin, syringaresinol, and ferulic acid. All of these isolates showed appreciable DPPH free radical scavenging potential, except for brittonin A, which was devoid of activity.Entities:
