The effects of a bare metal stent on the healing of a huge coronary pseudoaneurysm: a case report.

Yoshiaki Shintani1, Tomohiro Kawasaki.

Abstract

We experienced a rapidly growing huge coronary pseudoaneurysm with symptomatic restenosis after rotational atherectomy. A BMS had successfully obliterated the huge coronary pseudoaneurysm at 3 months follow-up on CTA. The OCT at 9 months follow-up showed that the most of stent strut was covered with neointima. This case suggests that BMS deployment is recommended as a useful method for treating coronary pseudoaneurysms.
