Abstract
Angiomyofibroblastoma is a rare benign distinctive mesenchymal tumor that occurs in the genital pelviperineal region, commonly the vulva and vagina. We report a case of angiomyofibroblastoma in a 42-year-old woman, presenting as a "cystic mass" located subcutaneously in the right labial area of the vulva. Recognition of this entity is based on specific histological and immunopathological features, and the correct treatment is important because of the aggressive behavior of other related mesenchymal tumors of the vulva and vagina, such as angiomyxoma and cellular angiofibroma.Entities:
