Abstract
The incidence of symptomatic venous thromboembolism (VTE) in children receiving therapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) varies widely and is protocol dependent. The authors herein report the incidence and potential risk factors for VTE in children with ALL while being treated on a uniform protocol at a single tertiary care center in Lebanon. The authors also examine necessary modifications in a recently published model before it could predict VTE in their patients.Entities:
