Abstract
A frequent objection to the unrestricted visiting policy in intensive care units (ICUs) is the risk of acquired infections. In a mixed 8-bed ICU, an adopted shift from a restricted to a partially unrestricted visiting policy did not result in an increase in ICU-acquired infections.Entities:
