Abstract
Parkinson's disease is a progressive, neurodegenerative condition with no known cure. People with the condition can have complex palliative care needs similar to those of cancer patients. This article describes the four stages of Parkinson's disease, and illustrates how nurses can apply the principles of palliative care to support and care at each stage.Entities:
