Abstract
Laryngeal malignant tumors are mainly composed of squamous cell carcinomas. Glandular carcinomas of the larynx are rare tumors that constitute less than 1% of all laryngeal malignancies where "adenocarcinoma not otherwise specified" is the most common histologic subtype. Here we report a case of a 70-year-old female patient with primary laryngeal mucinous adenocarcinoma. The rarity of the tumor type and the differential diagnosis of this tumor before reporting it as a primary adenocarcinoma of the larynx are discussed here with literature findings.Entities:
