Abstract
Xanthoma or xanthofibroma is a lesion, characterized by foamy histiocytes (xanthoma cell) and is mostly seen in soft tissue. Xanthoma may also occur in in the skeletal system of patients with an abnormal lipid metabolism. We present a 22-year-old man with primary xanthofibroma in the calcaneus, who was treated by curettage and grafting of the lesion.Entities:
