Abstract
The case of an androgen-secreting tumour in the transposed ovary of a 52-year-old woman is presented. She had undergone radical hysterectomy, pelvic and para-aortic node dissection for stage 1 b1 grade 3 cervical carcinoma and transposition of right ovary in view of possible radiotherapy. She subsequently had chemoradiotherapy for tumour recurrence. There was no definite correlation between her previous treatment and the tumour causation. It was therefore surmised that this was an incidental occurrence rather than a case of iatrogenic causation.Entities:
