Figure 2Immunohistochemistry of HOXC8 expression in diseased pancreatic tissue samples shows that HOXC8 expression (coloured in red brown) was always stronger in surrounding than in neoplastic tissues. Pancreatitis samples showed more intensive immune-reactivity than PDAC tissues: (A) autoimmune pancreatitis, (B) CP, (C and D) PDAC and (E) liver metastases of PDAC. The scale bars indicate a distance of 100 μm, the upper right corner shows a five-fold higher magnification, respectively.
