Abstract
A total of 150,000 primary total knee arthroplasties are performed in Germany each year. There is only a limited amount of evidence-based data available on possible surgery-related differences between osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) of the knee joint. The following review summarizes the recent literature on total knee arthroplasty with a focus on special features of RA patients.Entities:
