[Behavioral changes during the acquisition of long-term sensitization of the defensive reflex in the edible snail].

Abstract

Reaction of long-term sensitization (LTS) of defensive reflex was elaborated in the snail. It was accompanied by a considerable increase of the time of closing of pneumostome. The results show that LTS is preserved for more than two week and may be a model of long-term memory.
