Abstract
The authors did a preliminary examination asking whether plasma ceramides were elevated in depression, and whether the elevation was more pronounced in Alzheimer's disease patients than in control subjects. Results suggest that plasma ceramides are elevated in persons with a diagnosis of major depression, regardless of dementia status.Entities:
