Abstract
A case is described in which a woman with well controlled epilepsy and minor abnormalities of peripheral nerve function in the lower limbs experienced intense pain during the onset of a spinal anaesthetic for operation on burns on her thighs. Possible mechanisms and treatments are discussed.Entities:
