Abstract
Renal transplant recipients have an increased risk of malignancies. We have described a 41-year-old man in whom adenocarcinoma of the gallbladder developed during the first year after renal transplantation. He also had a nonfunctioning pancreatic islet cell tumor during the fifth year after transplantation. He was the first known renal transplant recipient to be a long-term survivor of adenocarcinoma of the gallbladder.Entities:
