Abstract
Bovine colostrum whey and immunoglobulins were prepared. Their characteristics and anti-viral activities were studied:IgG, IgA and IgM were found in bovine colostrum. Most IgG was polymerized. Although neutralization activities against bovine, simian and human rotaviruses existed, anti-human adenovirus antibody was not found. Effects on prophylaxis and treatment for rotavirus gastroenteritis were expected.Entities:
