Abstract
We studied the expression of IgG, IgM, and IgA autoantibodies in the anti-topoisomerase I and anticentromere immune responses by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, immunoblotting, and immunofluorescence. While IgG autoantibodies were most common, IgA autoantibodies were also frequently found, but IgM autoantibodies were rare. This is the first report of IgA autoantibodies in scleroderma.Entities:
