Abstract
The title compound, C(25)H(27)NO(2), was obtained as the product of a Grignard reagent and an inter-mediate ester synthesized from L-(-)-proline. The asymmetric unit contains two independent mol-ecules, both of which feature an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond. In one of the mol-ecules, the pyrrolidine ring is disordered over two orientations in a 0.63 (3):0.37 (3) ratio.Entities:
