Abstract

This article is an executive summary of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology's elimination guide for mediastinitis surgical site infections. Infection preventionists are encouraged to obtain the original, full-length elimination guide for more thorough coverage of mediastinitis surgical site infection prevention.
