Abstract
We describe an experimental and theoretical characterization of rectangular resonant cavities integrated into parallel-plate waveguides, using terahertz pulses. When the waveguide is excited with the lowest-order transverse-electric mode, these cavities exhibit resonances with narrow linewidths.
