Abstract
Hepatitis C-associated osteosclerosis (HCAO) is characterized by increased bone mass following hepatitis C infection. We report here a case of HCAO that lasted 8 years before the patient received antiviral hepatitis treatment. Seven years after the antiviral treatment, the evolution of radiographs and densitometry showed skeletal recovery of osteosclerosis. This case strengthens the relationship between viral infection and osteosclerosis.Entities:
