To the EditorI deeply regret to inform you and request for retraction of our review paper published in YMJ.1We have applied for the U.S. patent with some ideas and research data which are related to the review paper. Upon request from a patent lawyer's office, we checked the references used in our paper for the Information Disclosure Statement (IDS). We realized that our review paper plagiarized several sentences from a previously published review paper titled as "The biochemical and biological functions of human papillomavirus type 16 E5 protein" in Arch Virol (2003;148:1445-53). As a corresponding author, I will take full responsibility and respectfully request for the retraction of our review paper from YMJ.
