Abstract
We report a patient with Down's syndrome (DS) who developed progressive parkinsonian symptomatology at the age of 43 years. His parkinsonism was responsive to levodopa/carbidopa, but he developed end of dose wearing off. We discuss basal ganglia and dopamine abnormalities in DS and suggest that DS may be associated with parkinsonism.Entities:
