Abstract
Fewer than 25 cases of myocardial involvement with the Mucoraceae have been reported. We present a diabetic patient with recurrent ketoacidosis and staphylococcal septicemia whose demise was accelerated by unsuspected left atrial mural endocardial mucormycosis.Entities:
